Indoor Kites (Short Film)

A second year student film I worked on. This film was the first real challenge of my student career. Working in two different departments on the same set really pushed me. The shoot went over two days and left us with 4 days for post production. This was a huge task for us as we had about 30 to 40 shots that held some kind of visual effect element. Once picture lock was completed I stretched myself between the two departments and one by one we completed visual effects shots, approved them and then slotted them immediately into the edit. The task we set off to do from the start was an absolute giant, but we managed to overcome every problem we faced and finish post in 4 days. This film was the first real opportunity I got to work with a lot of green screen footage and really show what I could do. I was credited as one of the Editors and Visual Effects Artists.
